Her passion for entertainment was ignited during childhood, earmarked by active participation in beauty pageants, dance recitals, and fashion shows. It was during her freshman year in high school, guided by Drama teacher Mrs. Fryer, that  Malan  discovered her profound love for acting. Cast as Snow White in a stage play, she realized her ability to breathe life into extraordinary roles on stage.

A determined go-getter, Malan remained steadfast in her pursuit of stardom despite facing adversity. Her feature as JET Beauty of the Week in 2011 Jet Magazine addition influenced her decision to relocate to Atlanta. There, she immersed herself in print modeling campaigns for esteemed brands like Delta Airlines, Marta, and Miller Lite. Additionally, she made impactful appearances in films such as Fatal Attraction, Homicide Hunter, and the acclaimed Down 2 Come Up.

Her recent accomplishments include compelling supporting roles in Women of The Jury, Player, and Giving Thanks, available on popular streaming platforms such as Peacock and Amazon Prime.
